A well written book that takes conspiracy theories, climate change, grey aliens and loads of other stuff and makes a plausible sci-fi story. Characters are fairly filled out, world building and conspiracy entanglements are explained and don't conflict with each other too too much. The science about space ships and extraterrestrial life is a weakness that is glossed over and covered by action sequences that almost make you forget. There are enough conspiracy theories out there to explain that science (such as Solar Warden and Aurora) that are not included that kind of leave me confused as to why they were not used, but that's okay. The story is decent enough to fill most sci-fi fans, conspiracy theory followers, and ET nuts out there with a bit of something so I will recommend it for those reasons.Product details

This is a good book! I very much enjoyed the story line, the characters are believable, and the action isn't minimal.
Some innovative story ideas that make this book very good.
If you like this type of story, you will enjoy this book.
I like the fact that this author writes stand alone novels. It's much harder than writing a series. All the books have great characters and plots. This one is more sci-fi than the others and makes clever use of the standard little big-headed grey aliens. But making them computer brained clones was quite original. I wouldn't mind if the book became a series.
This is a wonderful story that keeps me wondering if it could be true. The writing is done so well I just couldn't stop reading. I missed many hours of sleep. I will look for more books by D F Capps.
This book started slow, and there were several points in the book where I considered putting it down and starting another book but in the end I'm glad that I did not do that. I enjoy the book and can recommend it to all lovers of science fiction stories.
This was a great book for people who like their science fiction hard-core military as well as a combination of alien invasion, politics, and a corrupt conspiracy. I could easily see this as a made for TV SciFy channel movie. Loved the strong female main character. All in all, a fun bit of entertainment that's well worth the price.
DFC had written a SyFy novel about Earth's first inter galactic war. It is fought in and around Earth. Another Alien race is assisting Earth with weapons and guidance in use. The new aircraft excreted the speed of sound time 500. This is an excellent read for the genre.....ER
Great read, all round. The technical stuff is not so deep that it’s over your head; the humanity of the characters is real and engaging; the plot is executed beautifully, with just enough twists and turns to keep you from putting it down. My blurry eyes (from all that readin) are adding these last few words if you like sci-fi, you MUST read this!
